Because every event and every client is different, we customize your personal menu. To get a quote, we suggest you create a “preliminary” menu after viewing our selections. We will be very helpful with designing your personalized menu. Once we have it designed, we will quote you a price per person. Depending on the menu and expected number of guests, we will also give you an idea of staff requirements and cost. After your initial verbal quote, we will set an appointment with you at the event site to determine your rental needs and discuss other event details. A few items to consider while planning your event and menu:
Are you having a Cocktail/Hors D’oeuvre Reception?
If you want a combination of Stationary and Passed Hors D’ouevres, choose 2-3 Stationary Hors D’oeuvres items and 4-6 passed. If passed only, 6-8 items. Mix it up and have fun with it!
Are you having a table served meal or buffet?
If you are having a buffet as your main course, we suggest at least 2 entrees, no more than 4, and 3 or 4 side dishes from our Accompaniment menu. Often times we will do a table set first course, then a buffet for the main course.
If you are having your main course table served, we suggest a combination plate. This will eliminate the extra work for you to keep track on what your guests have ordered. A Seafood/Poultry combination, Seafood/Beef combination, Poultry/Beef combination along with a starch, vegetable and a first course. We will always offer a vegetarian option as well.
Dessert: We do not have a dessert menu, but can accommodate just about anything you might want! Recent favorites being: Chocolate Fountain or Fondues, Ice Cream Sundae Bar, Assorted Finger Desserts and Mini Cup Cakes. If you are serving a cake (Wedding, Bar/Bat Mitzvah, Birthday), most of our clients prefer to order their own cake as it is a very personal choice. We have many excellent recommendations of bakeries.
Bar Service: Most of our clients prefer to work with their local liquor stores. We will provide you with our recommended liquor quantities, most beverage equipment, bartenders (if needed), non alcoholic beverages & mixers, bar fruit and ice. Your local liquor store will, for the most part, deliver to your event and will refund you whatever you return un-opened (verify that with your local store). We can certainly order all beverages for you if you prefer.
Coffee Service: Even if your dinner is table served, we will often do the coffee service buffet style. This will eliminate additional costs in rentals (coffee cup and saucer for all guests, creamers & sugars at each table etc.)
Rentals: There is no additional fee for this service other than the rentals themselves. We will figure the proper quantities based on your expected number of guests and place the order on your behalf. Once you have your final guest count, 1.5 weeks prior to event, we will adjust the original order if need be. You will be billed directly by the rental company.
